THE GERMAN MASS CASUALTY SYSTEM

The German Mass Casualty Container System was designed for the 2006 FIFA Soccer World Cup in Germany. It can be used for immediate treatment of a large number of injured patients in mass casualties or as a “mobile hospital/mobile Emergency Department” and as a safety device for mass events.

THE GERMAN AMBULANCE BUS

Based on the Mercedes-Benz Citaro urban bus, the new large capacity emergency ambulance bus was produced for the Stuttgart Fire Brigade for the event of major disasters resulting in mass injuries or sickness. The bus can be used for immediate treatment of 5 ventilated ICU patients and 20 or more moderately injured patients.
